SSUSS Bedfordview is proud to announce that one of the schools' first graduates was accepted to play professional soccer for Clube Desportivo Nacional this year!
Clube Desportivo Nacional, commonly known as Nacional and sometimes Nacional da Madeira, is a Portuguese football club based in Funchal, in the island of Madeira.
Nicholas Pereira joined SSUSS Bedfordview when the school opened in 2012. He attended SSUSS Bedfordview and worked rigorously on developing his soccer skills in accordance with the SSUSS Skills development methodologies. His dedication and passion for soccer payed off when he was asked to try out for Clube Desportivo Nacional under 20's side.
Nacional's selection team was so impressed with Nicholas's ball skills that they offered the sixteen year old a place on the under 20's side!
