The first award in the Skills badge challenge is the take-off point for all children and provides a good framework from which to develop all the skills needed for the awards challenge. Children will become proficient at 'Core Dribbling Skills', 'Two-footed Juggling' and 'Accurate Passing'. Many hours of practice are required to pass the Level 1 stage. With dedication and training, Level 1 will provide children with the foundations for footballing excellence. Children achieving this award can apply for a certificate and a special presentation case, containing the Skills Badge Award and 7 modular coins, to mark their achievement.
